Questions, Answered
Does it work with Divi 4?
No — ACF Divi Panel is built specifically for the Divi 5 Visual Builder and won't function on Divi 4. If you're still on Divi 4, consider it one more great reason to make the move.
Does it work with the standalone Divi Builder plugin?
Not currently. ACF Divi Panel requires the Divi 5 theme. Elegant Themes has said the Divi 5 builder is coming to the standalone plugin, and we plan to add support once it's released and we can test against it.
Can I edit things besides ACF fields?
Yes. The panel presents your genuine WordPress edit screen, so anything registered there is available: featured image, excerpt, page attributes, taxonomies, and metaboxes added by other plugins (SEO settings, for example). ACF Divi Panel doesn't individually integrate with those plugins — it simply shows you the real edit screen, so what appears there appears in the panel.
Why don't I see the tab on some pages?
The tab appears only on pages and posts that have at least one ACF field group assigned to them. No ACF fields means nothing to edit — so the tab stays out of your way.
Does the panel's Save button save my Divi page too?
No, and that's by design. The panel saves your ACF values only — your Divi layout saves through Divi's own Save button, as always. The panel reminds you right in its header. ACF data lives in WordPress post meta, completely independent of Divi's content, so the two never conflict.
Does it work with ACF Free, or only Pro?
Both. The panel shows whatever field groups ACF has assigned to the page, regardless of which version created them.
